Step-by-step instructions
Enter edit mode
Enter edit mode by clicking Start editing.
Open the tile menu
Click the three dots on the tile you want to change (e.g., "Hello") and select Record own speech.
Record the audio
Click the record button, speak the word or phrase, and stop the recording.
Review and trim the recording
Listen back to the recording and trim it if needed.
Confirm and save
Click Confirm recording, then save the recording at the top or exit edit mode.

Hello everyone, I'm Rick from ExpressMe.
I'm going to show you how to record your own speech so the app can speak it for you.
If we for example click on Hello here, we hear the following. Hello. But I'd like to make that my own voice.
Well, then I go to edit mode. By clicking start editing, then we can click on the three dots of Hello. And then we see, hey, record own speech.
When I then click on that, I get this pop-up. And then we can very simply start recording. I'll do that now. Hello.
Then I stop the recording and we can actually listen back to it. Hello. Well, then we can optionally trim it a bit so it sounds better. Hello. Well, that sounds perfect.
Then we click confirm recording. And then we can save it at the top. Or let's just exit edit mode.
And then when I now click on Hello, we hear the following. Hello. Well, and that's my own voice. It's that simple.
